MediaFuse launches TechnologyWire for tech-focused press release distribution

by July 8, 2026
written by July 8, 2026

MediaFuse, the company behind PR distribution platforms including Chainwire, CyberNewsWire, GamingWire, and FinanceWire, has announced the launch of TechnologyWire, a press release distribution platform focused on technology companies and startups.

TechnologyWire distributes press releases to a network of technology-focused publications, where content is published on the homepage or category pages.

According to MediaFuse, the platform is designed to support brand visibility as well as search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).

The platform is intended for technology companies, startups, and the public relations agencies that represent them.

According to MediaFuse, traditional newswire services distribute press releases across a wide range of websites, television stations, radio affiliates, regional newspapers, and general business publications, many of which may not be relevant for technology companies announcing product launches, funding rounds, or partnerships.

TechnologyWire instead focuses on distribution through technology-focused publications.

Rather than publishing content across a broad network of general outlets, the platform places company announcements on the homepage or category pages of publications that serve technology professionals, developers, IT decision-makers, and investors.

According to the company, this targeted approach is intended to help technology businesses reach audiences that are more relevant to their announcements.

“Most newswires were built in an era when casting the widest net was the strategy. That made sense when distribution was scarce. Today, a tech company doesn’t need its announcement on 400 outlets — it needs it on the 15 that its customers, investors, and partners actually read. TechnologyWire is purpose-built for that. Every outlet in the network is there because it reaches a technology audience, not because it fills a count.” — Nadav Dakner, CEO of MediaFuse

MediaFuse said TechnologyWire is a distribution platform rather than a public relations agency.

The platform is designed to be used directly by companies as well as by PR agencies distributing press releases for technology clients.

According to the company, in-house communications teams can use the platform to distribute announcements to technology publications without working through a PR agency, while agencies can use the service to distribute releases on behalf of their clients.

TechnologyWire operates on a pay-per-release model. Users can create an account, submit a press release, choose a distribution package, and publish without requiring a subscription, long-term commitment, or minimum spending requirement.
